Aalisjoki River Wilderness Cottage in Pello – Lapland

Rent a charming wilderness cabin on the banks of the Aalisjoki River in Pello for your holiday stay.

This cabin is a true paradise for outdoor enthusiasts – the nearest neighbour is 10 kilometres away, and the property is surrounded by land owned by Metsähallitus (Finnish Forest Administration). The area offers excellent opportunities for berry picking, fishing, hunting, mushroom foraging, and canoeing.

The cabin has a floor area of approximately 35 m² and accommodates 2 + 2 persons (extra beds on the sofa).

This is an off-grid wilderness cabin with no electricity. Water must be carried manually, and there is an outdoor toilet. The cabin includes a living room, a kitchenette, and a wood-heated sauna. There is also a barbecue area in the yard.

The walking distance from the main road to the cabin is approximately 300 metres. In dry conditions, a high-clearance vehicle can reach the cabin directly. There is no internet connection in the cabin, and no mobile phone coverage in the area.

Price: €90 / night (minimum stay: 2 nights)
Final cleaning (€50) and bed linen (€15 / person) are not included in the price.
