Northern Lights Excursion & meeting reindeer at Santa’s Secret Cottage in Pello in Finnish Lapland

Join us for a magical northern lights hunt around Lake Puolamajärvi in Pello, Finnish Lapland.

Experience Overview: Our adventure begins at our reindeer farm, perfectly situated north of the Arctic Circle, away from urban light pollution—ideal for northern lights viewing. You’ll embark on a scenic trip through the forest in a sled pulled by a snowmobile, searching for the elusive auroras. Along the way, you’ll visit our reindeer enclosure, where you can meet and feed our reindeer.

At Santa’s Secret Cottage, located next to the reindeer fences, you’ll enjoy a cozy, warm setting where we’ll prepare a traditional “reindeer herder’s kiss” dish (a snack) and hot drinks. Step outside to continue your northern lights observation.

• Adults: 219 €
• Children (6-12 years): 109 €

Minimum size of a group: 2 paying persons. Maximum size 8 paying persons. 

Starting Point and Time:

• Our reindeer farm at 20:30 (Puolukkamaan Pirtit / Reindeer Lake Resort – Puolamajärventie 18A, 95790 Lampsijärvi PELLO.
• Pickup service is not available.

Important Notes:

• Dress warmly, including proper winter shoes (we do not provide winter clothing).
• Seeing northern lights is not guaranteed as they are a natural phenomenon.
• Meeting Santa Claus is not included. You will visit Santa’s Secret Cottage while he is away.
• Feel free to bring your camera and phone.
